Dr. Haslam is a board-certified specialist in orthodontics, who has helped bring a beautiful smile to many children and adults in the Mid-Willamette Valley. Dr. Haslam grew up in Logan, UT where he received his bachelor’s degree from Utah State University. Following USU, he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine with honors from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1992. His passion for orthodontics led him to invest two more years of study at New York University, College of Dentistry where he completed his specialty training in orthodontics and dento-facial orthopedics.
Dr. Haslam stays up to date on current concepts and new technologies of orthodontic treatment and facial esthetics to provide the best, most efficient care to his patients. He believes in a thorough diagnosis and treatment plan in collaboration with the patient’s dentist, that is designed to create a tailor-made approach for each unique patient.
On a more personal note, Dr. Haslam and his wife live in Philomath, OR. The parents of six children, and grandparents of four are huge OSU Beavers fans and big supporters of the local schools and youth programs. Dr. Haslam enjoys snow sports, water skiing, tennis, gardening and fly fishing. Dr. Haslam and his friendly, experienced staff strive to make the orthodontic experience comfortable, fun and one that you will remember with a smile.

Marketing and Operations
Kyle recently joined the VVO team as the Director of Marketing and Operations. You'll see him floating around the office helping in many different facets of the day to day tasks. He is also here to answer any of your financial questions, and help make your experience with VVO as amazing as possible! You may even see him out in the community involved in some of the events VVO sponsors. Outside of work Kyle is the father to 3 kids and enjoys soccer, mountain biking, playing guitar, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Jenny
Appointment Coordinator
Jenny is the lovely face waiting to greet you as you come into our office! She is the inner workings of our scheduling and helping you stay on track with your orthodontic treatment. More times than not she'll be the voice on the phone ready to answer any questions you might have. Jenny's favorite thing about working for VVO is the amazing staff and patients. Outside of work, Jenny enjoys spending time with her family.
Sue
Lab Technician
Sue is always working her magic in our in house lab like she has for the past 27 years! She continues to provide an exceptional experience for our patients and staff as an essential part of VVO. Sue's favorite aspect of working here is the awesome work family and great patients. She also says it is fun to bring beautiful smiles to our patients. Outside of work Sue loves spending time with her family.
Shana
Lead Orthodontic Assistant
Shana is our Lead Orthodontic Assistant and has been with the practice since September of 2002! Her experience shows through her ability to make patients feel comfortable and enjoy their time with us. Shana says she loves working with Dr. Haslam and seeing the changes made in smiles and the confidence it gives patients. Outside of work, Shana is married with 2 boys and loves to go camping, travel, read, take care of her plants, and enjoys baseball!

Patient Care Coordinator
You'll see Stephanie helping out in both the front and back of the office. She helps with scheduling, sanitizing, photos, and keeping all of our much needed supplies stocked. Stephanie's favorite part about working at VVO is the variety of work and fun people. Outside of work she enjoys hunting, gardening, and being with her kids, family, and friends.
Cassidy
Orthodontic Assistant
Cassidy has been with VVO for almost a year now, and we couldn't be more excited to have her! A recent graduate from the LBCC Dental Assisting Program, Cassidy spent time in our office as part of her training and we knew from that point forward we wanted her on our team. Cassidy's favorite thing about working at VVO is seeing everyones beautiful smiles and knowing we are making a difference. Outside of work Cassidy enjoys fishing, swimming and hiking. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Krista
Orthodontic Assistant
Krista has been an Ortho Assistant for over 17 years and with us at VVO for the past year and a half. Krista says she loves working with an awesome staff and super nice Doctor. She also loves watching peoples confidence grow with their beautiful new smiles! Outside of work, Krista is a mom to 2 kids, 1 corgi, and 2 cats. Her family enjoys riding 4 wheelers at the dunes, camping & hiking, and are big into being adventurous!
Aubrie
Patient Care Coordinator
Aubrie is the newest member of the VVO staff and has already made such a difference in our office! From her friendly voice on the phone to helping you set-up a new patient exam, she is always smiling and happy to assist. Her favorite part of working at Valley View is interacting with patients and being a part of their journey. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, biking and spending time with friends, family, and her cat!
